Meet the Founder

It’s my passion for textiles, craftsmanship, and all things uniquely beautiful that fuels my dedication to designing interiors. The foundation of my aesthetic is rooted in a functional floor plan highlighted by furnishings and accessories that bring character, joy, and often times a story to each space.

My design journey began over 25 years ago, managing the improvements of corporate owned inventory for a leading real estate firm, eventually evolving to home staging small scale design projects. I took the opportunity in 2011 to head up the buying and management of a local specialty boutique where I blended merchandising and creativity with the nuances of budgets, order procurement and retail management.

In 2016 I joined a prominent interior design studio outside of Minneapolis where I built relationships with industry professionals and expanded my portfolio to full scale design projects. In 2025, knowing the time was right, I launched JG Design.
